Ok,
In an attempt to enlarge the already massive eurovox community, I have put together this thread to allow you to persuade people why the Eurovox Max, Slimline or PVR is better than their alternatives or a modded V or V+ box, or why it isnt. Please post your reasonings below and also if you agree could you post again just so as to show support for that reason.

well heres my view:
the v+ is the dogs balls to the point of you still get a great easy epg and can record 2 items and watch a third... has 4 ways to connect, hdmi, scart, ect and rcas i like the eurovox as NO pins for movies and also can remove channels you never watch ect

Well tbh i dont think i can vote on this one.
Ive only ever had experience with the Eurovox MaxV 2008. I would like to have the V+ Box when i upgrade to a new tv, when ever that will be. I like my Eurovox though, its been faithful **touch wood** |

yep i agree you would need to have had experience of all above mentioned units. However i cant see how any could be better than a modded V+ if im honest apart from the fact you get more porn on the eurovox if thats your thing.

eurovox, starview, kryptviews ect cant really be compared to the modded boxes!
Yes they serve their purpose...free TV, espiecially gay tv for seamouse ![]() ![]() BUT as far as build/component quality goes they are by far inferior to the modded boxes in order to keep production/retail costs down ![]() Only box ive never tried is the starviews of which ive slated in the past and maybe wrongly so....lol Last edited by ronster; 22-11-08 at 06:46 PM. |

I would love to have a V+ Box, It may happen once i get my 40" LCD tv in my room. But until then theirs no need.
Tbh, i took my Eurovox downstairs as my dad likes watching the Footy matches on Sky Sports. I hooked it up to the 42" LCD and i was quite amazed with the quality from a scart connection. It wasn't too bad. I dunno if that was to do with the LCD technology, has something called PixelPlus which seems to give it a good quality picture. |

What you mean Oh Dear.
Its bloody brilliant IMO. Why whats so "oh dearing" about em. My friend had his EV and a Sony Bravia tv and the picture quality is awful. |
