Default Earth bonding of pipework in bathrooms

Recently i removed a radiator in the bathroom that had an earth wire bolted to its bottom. I have fitted a chrome towel radiator in its place and wondering what i should do with this earth wire.

The wire just came out from the skirting board and straight to a clip on the bottom of the radiator.

Not sure what the rules are with this, please advise.

Put a towel over the top of the clip.

No-one will notice.

Seriously, as a temp measure, best to make it safe ASAP.

Bonding isn't required in the bathroom under 17th edition as long as all other requirements have been met (ie main bond and rcd to all circuits in bathroom). I personally wouldn't bother.

Most of the towel rails now have provisions for the tag on them, sometimes not in the best place but they are there,as said under 17th and the new regs part p and all that it isnt required providing the main categories are satisified and classes met,
