Talking New cIOS & Patched Menu Allows Direct Booting Of Backups

Waninkoko's Custom IOS36 rev 7 & Patched Menu is confirmed working (by me) and it boots backups directly from the Wii Menu Disc Channel. All you have to do is install the cIOS then install the Patched Menu and your backups will boot without the need for a Backup Loader. Also, backups don't need patching but your patched backups should still work. I have just installed this onto my Wii and I have to say I am very pleased with the outcome. I tested it with 4 games and each one works perfectly. If you need any help with installing this onto your console or you have a question about firmware updates, send me a PM and I will be more than glad to help .

EDIT: To load backups, you have to first load the Menu Patcher (available from the Homebrew Channel if you kept it on your memory card) then the console will reboot with the patched menu allowing you to load your backup.

Nope not with this. I am using it as we speak to play backup games. If you Google "Custom IOS36 rev 7" you will find all the information and downloads to get it working .
