hi,,what is the best softwear to flash my telewest modem with ,,and r thay ok with widows vista ?

it will depend on the chip the spansion one bit iffy

a subbed modem is one that the cable company have provided to use on your account.......
the epc2100 can use infinite or haxorware. its basically the same modem as a 250

right well if your max232 is owt like mine (with a ambit connector) you'll need to make a bit of a jig. what i did was take a pin header off an already flashed or dead ambit and solder to a bit of vero board and take some wires off it. it now slots onto the ambit header and i take the wires off it to the back of the sa2100 modem.

wow copleatly lost me mate ,,ive bought a rs232 interace,,i though it was simple,plug it in the modem click a few buttons an hay preston u got the net on ! or not ? lol
