It technically shouldn't matter. HDMI is a digital cable so in effect, even a £1 cable from Poundland made by a cheap manufacturer should give the same output as one of those overpriced "monster" cables.

I got a £10 one off Amazon a while back. It's nice and sturdy and gives perfect output.

Amazon.co.uk: LINX HDMI Cable - Premium 24K Gold Plated HDMI Lead for HD Ready TV's - 1.2 metres: Electronics & Photo

Hope that helps

Yup, agree with samf88.
I remember seeing a comparison on GadgetShow. They compared an expensive one and a cheap one and it was the same quality on both screens.
I got a cheap one from eBay for under a tenner and it works perfectly fine, brilliant BluRay playback.
