My favorites are Asus and Viewsonic. I have a viewsonic Monitor for 5 years now and it has never given a trouble and colors are excellent also their keyboards and mouse are great too. My mother board is a Asus so does my CD writer. But it seems Asus quality is dropped a little.

It depends on what hardware I'm going to buy. Samsung is good for optical drives. LG is good in monitors. Intel has best motherboards & processors. US Robotics has nice modems etc.
