i have one myself and its very handy for 4:2:2 feeds.

Were they all like that or has it a developing fault ........"please note this particular unit works well from standby mode but takes a minute or two to start up from cold"..........

Mine does that as well. Have just used it for the first time in 6 weeks and it does spend some time faffing about with itself- seems to work fine though.
