hi
am new on ere i borght a Motorola modem and am geting speed up 2mb,does it it be 2mbs or can i make it frester, can someone help me plz plz.

any help plz plz plz,
i borght for £50 with a mac am useing a 3 way splitter one for the Euro Vox MaxV and the other for the modem. i done a speed test on speedtest it come up as 2mb download speed but everones getting 20mb

You might need to force the 20 meg config.

what is the modem flashed with? if its infinite there is a signal level, check that. your looking for a d/s power of about -4-5 i think. try it without the splitter anyway. also, if its infinite f/w you can have a look at what config your using or, check the logs

you need to go to 192.168.100.1 and have a look at the internal webpage of the modem. it will tell you what firmware it is inm there
