bricked me 200 lol

i think im right in saying ive bricked my 200 ive done 250s no trouble well not much lol but ive been messing with a 200 for weeks and just cant get it going tonight i was messing in the sigma page not sure what i did but it said it was downloading something ooooooops i pulled the plug cos it wouldnt stop now i only have power light i can go in with hyper terminal but its not what i normally see lol



is it bricked im not sure but ive been trying to get it working that long that the wife has started calling me a geek and well i just want to take a hammer to it so if someone says its bricked well its going on utube death of a 200 lol

yer its bricked!, just blackcat it back to life!...... or lift the tsop and reprogram...... but iff u utube it send me the link.

Try softjtag and see if you can flash the bootloader that way 1st.

Try the console unlocker software.
It worked on a `bricked` Ambit I had and it won't cost anything to try.

hi there guys n girls!.
i think some of you are getting mixed up about bricked modems. a bricked modem is where the software on the modem (tsop chip) is f~@ked and u can't read or wright to it via rs232 233 or ethnet.

now the console unlocker WILL NOT sort a bricked modem out, it will only do the ambit250/255 that have had the alex update that got rid of the
---OPTION P---

the only way to do a bricked modem is with a willam or blackcat....

ambit 250/255 willam only(chip of and reprogram)
moto: most have a jtag port that you can conect to and blackcat!

hope this clear's things up a little!

Ok its not going to beat me ive got a blackcat but im not to sure how to connect it ive got ten pin headers with it do i solder these on the the points ?
