I don't use DVD-R or DVD-RW/DVD+RW

I have CD Write and I'm happy with CD-Rs and CD-RWs

I use both, have a CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo and a DVD-RW Drive. For me, at least where I live I can get a DVD-RW for 40 bucks and a CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo for about 20, so it's pretty sweet. Go check out tigerdirect.ca or .com, depending on where you live, cheap, cheap prices!

I have a CD-RW/DVD-RW drive... It's an all in one. I haven't burned anything with it yet...

The only difference is the price and what they can be used for, you can't make an audio CD out of a DVD but you can make a movie(KVCD) out of a CD.

DVD-RW or CD-R for backup, DVD-R for anything else - I have fewer problems that way.
