strange message appered

right i made myself a fun card a few days ago .cut talkback e.c.t, everything working o.k . iv got back in tonight & on one of the channels 808 , iv got a message saying ...............***please be aware the set top box you are using is unauthorised and you are committing a criminal offence by using it to receive programmes form vm. *** iv not seen this before unless iv missesd it, any1else got it ?? :shoc ked:

i thought this message could only appear on eurovox type boxes(Boxes you have to scan for channels). I never knew it could appear on VM boxes

Yes your right, its not on mine at the moment, probably different area.
Is your talkback cut geoforcefx ?
I would guess its same as whats on eurovox starview etc.
edit i didnt read post properly your t/b is cut, dont think its possible for them to know, it may be the cam id you used or something similar that makes it show, we will find out tomorrow if we are bombarded with posts.

Yes m8 talkback is deff cut, & looked on the menu for DHCP status & it says return path is off ................iv been told this means its deff been cut & is o.k...................... yes bet it could be the camid i forgot to put in .....what happens /what will it do if you dont put camid in ............my channels have all been swapping themself around,& got all the asian channels yesterday! could this be because of the camid ?

Could also be a bad flash file, which flash file did you use..

O.k tee111 , would u recomend just downloading another 1 , & trying that , (the same flash of corse)

i had this happen to me with a mosc, it happend when i put the card in the box without turning it off. only a few channels were there, so i reset the box with the card in! and the message had gone.
