Ok so I play a lot of online games, I usually host the server and play with friends etc.
I noticed when I plugged my 255 using cmbus-pkg3-nat-any.cm that the server could not be seen! However on my 200 in that uses cmreg-ntlhm250-bund03.cm the server could be seen. It is my understanding that the cmbus-pkg3-nat-any.cm config is used for businesses, so is it possible they block certain ports for businesses so they cant host game servers? lol... Is this even possible from their end? Well I am really curious about this so if somone can shed some light that would be great! |

I see no one replied however I found through playing around that if you use the business config it without a doubt blocks port 28960 which is a common game hosting port for the call of duty franchise. It also appears this is not the only port affected as more and more people are spotting port blocking issues with this config. Traffic management was added to the config after everyone discovered it and jumped on board, so using it against using the standard 20mb config has no real benefits. Not only that but you will stick out like a saw thumb with no businesses near your area so i suggest that no one bother with this config for now...
Thanks, Benji |

I personally would not use the business config, for the very same reason.
It not im playing online games, it just I think that if VM blocks a gaming port, what else do they do with the business config to effectivly `cripple` certain aspects of it?
