Hi, Does any one know where I can get channel control crystal on the pace 2000 motherboard. Near the front end and has a (thin oblong shape)silver top. This crystal , from what I have been advised, controls the cable ch. The remote no longer works due to the crystall going kapput. Need to replace. Difficult to take off so need a new component. ANY ADVISE FROM YOU FOLKS OUT THERE.

Have a look at this thread and tommorow I`l get you all the info, part no etc. Watching footie at minute lol.

Also will try and attach pic if you need it. In the meantime have a look at thread below and see if it helps.

rs......stock .no.237-6270p.....3.68mhz....get your self a flux pen from maplins when you get it off get plenty of flux on the pads pre tin the pads on component good luck hit the thanks if this helps

I didnt even take the old one off just soldered straight to the points and works fine no probs.

Thanks Guys - mucho appreciated on the RS component and soldering advise. Do you know whetehr can get on fleabay - any one in particular rather then wild card search
