i am using firmware 1.1a and all was working fine till yesterday, todya when i tuned in, every channel is breaking up, tried rescanning, changed cable, checked connectors, tried plugging only tv but no joy... any help will be highly appretiated.

Having checked all connections etc,it maybe that your signal is either too low or too high,too low you need a booster,too high and you need an attenuator,preferably a variable one,having a subscription to a cable company helps too in ensuring a good signal down the feed ....

hmm i am having signal quality of 85%. is it too high or too low? i might be wrong but as far as i remember i used to have the same signal strength when chans were working fine

I honestly think it may be a bit too high,on some channels it may well be ok but on others you may have problems,I know its ony small signal strengths involved but with these boxes it matters a lot,thats why these attenuators can work so well it gives you the option to adjust signals so well ...I have always found that signals of around 78% work well on all channels ...getting a variable attenuator would allow you to turn down the signal gradually,to obtain best signal ......

There are loads on Ebay,just shows how popular they are,you can also get them from Maplins etc but they sometimes charge the earth ...
