All channels scrambled (no auto update)

If there is an update out for your box update it,saves the hassle of key entering.

Flashed my EX5000 PVR with new firmware (ex Bigmaq toolbar), but this morning found the same old "Please Wait" message. Entered new key off Keymaster and everything OK again. When I flashed the box, I didn't have to re-scan for channels etc. Could this have something to do with the firmware not Auto Updating?

sound like the flash hasn't took to you box buddy, you should have had to do a rescan, its like a fresh install on a PC etc... you need to reinstall the channels after a flash

Funny thing is, Sport ... it shows up as the new software (1.0 ST4 Oct 28 2008) under Menu>Config>System Information. I assume from the date that this is the right version? Should I just try re-flashing?

eurovox max has gone off again today 2/12/08 at about 1130 am already had new set of codes put them in last night and all was ok ,but all gone off again today anyone else having same problem?

came home from hols in oz today and found problems as discussed earlier, thanks to all the great info from most on here, i became aware within half an hour of what was needed to fix it, flashed with new firmware from the chaterbox.xx toolbar for ex5000s re scanned and switched off at the mains then back on and good as normal!

Anyone noticed that auto soughting doesn't seem to be an option now with the updated software or am i missing something??
