Thanks for your guide which I have sucessfully downloaded, read through and ordered the necessary components. I have managed to download the TFTPD32.EXE file from the web but I am not sure where I get the 250hack_dump_telnet.bin file, am I just being thick.

Any help will be appreciated.

normally if you have downloaded the tftpd32.exe file in zip format then the is again normally the 250hack_dump_telnet.bin file, is paired with it in the zip.
if not pm me your addy and I will sort you out.

I received my max232 adapter and cable today however on closer inspection my modem is an ambit 256 and not a 250 as I thought.

Can this be modded in the same way as a 250 or a 200 or am I missing something.

Hi All,
Back again.....
As I stated I compiled this guide from the vast amount of info out there in the hope that it helps others.
I used it to hack 250 and all was going well, now modem is down.
I will try another mac later but any other ideas most welcome

to victor ray if i am not mistaken you need to program the chip on a 256,
