Hi all,
I have been reading through the vast info available on modding a 250.
I have taken this info and combined it into a Guide which I found more user friendly.
I have attached a copy in the hope that you peeps more cleverer than me will rview and let me know if the contents are correct.

what is an xls file? i dunno how to read it.

its ok i have found out how to open it, i really think it should be a word or pdf file. But anyways its a good tut and i have a few noob questions.

When it say enter valid MAC address, should i just use my own?

and that cmreg-ntlhm.....etc thing, i have read that it only works in pure NTL areas, is that true and if it is what should use for CW area?

ITS A VERY WELL and good BUTTT

I am new to this Game so simple answers Just purchased a Ambient 255 Infinite all ready to go i am in Virgin Media area Bristol i successfully got on line after using software provide on cd Sniffer DHCP Sniffer-0.2.3.91b.exe and (Suite 250_configurator) after being on line with a spoof mac address 2 am next morning TV went Down and Modem cut of ( after putting account modem back on) nothing the killed all feed to house **&^&^^(^(&6&^ i had to call them sure somethings wrong luckey the started me up again many hours later .

My question i m debatting sending back modem did i do something wrong i would like to keep modem but cant risck been sniffed again is there some stright forward guide to keep all securty in place so the dont know . i have check modem files whch wa ssent to me seller know what he was doing as it is set up with latest config files for Bristol bought from Irland
please reply as time passing must make a decision
