Hi, Got to the hidden menu (emu) and turned auto-update off but HOW do you enter the Hex keys A B C D E. Have tried every button but not had any luck yet?

Hi to enter the Hex keys A B C D E use the numder keys like you would on your mobile phone

On starview 4 it actually shows you at the bottom which keys to use for letters

I think its TV/Radio = A, EPG = B, Red = C, Green = D, Yellow = E, Blue = F

my pvr has diferent way of doinig it depending on what mood its in i have no idea how it changes? or why? but the usal way of doing it was go to parental settings and i would have the option of
enter pin,
enter new pin ,
confirm pin
enter second pin (which was where you put code - 2007 )

last night i went on to the secret menu by the way i stated above entered the new keys saved on both keys then exited , it had not worked so i went back to see which key i had entered wrong but the normal option to acess the secret menu had gone and the other method explained by zappa wouldnt work either ?

after turning it on and of at the back followed by factory reset and turned on and off at the back a few times and a few kicks i manage to get in to the menu again
if i remember back to when i updated the software i had problems getting in to turn emu on then

if any one else has the same trouble just try what i did above i dont know what sorted it out but i like to think it was the kicks

i dont know why it does it i dont really like the box i dont think its reliable its shoved in the bed room and i use euro vox 2008 max find it alot easy to use ,epg actualy works instantly and its a more reliable box in my opinion

there was a beta software version out for this box last year what ever happend to that ? why no finished version is this box not suported any more?

I think the non beta software version is coming - there have been updates to the beta version tho
