Use proper company names, please

When referring to major satellite and cable providers, I've noticed a number of people using nicknames or censoring the company names - as if trying to hide them.

Please note that Techwatch is a public forum, that all discussions are in public view.

Additionally, I can confirm for a fact that major satellite and cable providers *DO* monitor the forums.

Therefore attempts to hide company names will not confuse these monitors, and simply makes TW posters trying to hide names look daft.

Please therefore be aware that where I'm alerted to company names being hidden on purpose, I'll ensure that these are corrected.

After all, Techwatch is supposed to be a help community, and hiding company names just prevents people from finding valid information that may fix their problems.
