Jay,
It all depends what sort of "Cool" programs you want. Currently on my HTC, I'm using: PocketMSN (Full MSN Package) PRSS (RSS Feeds) Skype (don't need to explain that one) not to mention a few others (phone battery is dead and its 3am). Will check back to see if you've replied, and I'll see what I can do for you. |

wow a reply, its only taken 5 months
![]() well i guess i mean, some decent games really more than anything and by programs i mean like the stuff you see on the iPhone, you know the apps? I was lead to believe the HTC was oranges answer to the iPhone where as now im more aware that its erm, not! I know the phone has capabilities way above anything I would need or use. I just fancied a change from the normal type of phones. . . .in hindsight, i should have chosen a model more suited to me. many thanks for the reply

TBH, HTC isn't Oranges answer to the iPhone, its everyones.
If you look on htc.com they are a fantastic manufacturer, and they have only recently started releasing their own products, under their name. For instance, the phone I have, was named the Vario 2 by Tmobile, SPV M3100 by Orange, and various others by other networks. (Mine is a HTC TyTn or Hermes) They are awesome bits of kit, as long as you wait for HTC to get more of the market from Apple. I'm not sure about posting full links here, but I'll see whats about for your Touch HD and see what I can do. The stuff I tend to use is quite basic, and now my phone is charged, I can tell you in full what I've installed; Advanced Configurator Tool - For tweaking my Hermes Office Mobile - Phone not preinstalled with it for some reason (ROM Issue) pRSSreader - As said previously, couldn't remember the full name, but for RSS Feeds Skype - Don't need to explain this one TCPMP - A better media player than WMP, since it didn't recognise AVI/DIVX etc Pocket MSN - Again, don't need to explain this one There are other applications i've downloaded to trial, such as wifi sniffers and other things, but i'll look for games for you. I know the new HTC Dream can run Quake, which i think is awesome, but I've no time for games personally. I use it for daily use, which is why I went for an older model, with the QWERTY keyboard, which suffice to say, they've released the HTC Touch Pro 2 with a QWERTY again! Can't wait to get hold of that! |
