Is there more going on here than we first thought?
I have 2 pace boxes (the same model) that i had 'sorted' some months back. Since the key rolling/algorythm change occured they both (obviously) went down. I have re-programmed the cards with there correct info + the new keys and now when i reinsert the cards BOTH boxes say "sorry, your smartcard isn't inserted properly so you wont be able to see all the channels. Blah blah blah" I have checked and rechecked the cards to make sure they have the correct info on them and they do. I have tried a total of 5 different cards programmed with the boxes info on them and get the same result each time! I am using Funcards Can anyone shed any light on this matter please?

I am still quite new to this. A friend supplied me with the card reader and a 'self wrote' tutorial (via email) on what to do and how to do it. He did not explain what everything was. So, i think you are asking what details are in the exteeprom file i am using.
As i understand it,they are all different for each box as they contain the ird and boxkey for each individual box and key0 and key1 for the area. I have extracted the boxkey from both boxes and also made a note of each boxes ird number. I have programmed these boxes myself before using said friends tut and they worked fine. But this time round they both tell me that message ![]() My boxes are pace boxes and the provider is NT*. So i assume i should be using the 'pure keys' from the Keymaster. Is this correct? Has the flash file changed since the latest key roll? Last edited by blaise; 28-11-08 at 09:10 PM. |

You can get it from the tb = toolbar. AU is the flash file use the one relevent for your area. When you are creating exteep are you putting in the camid relevant to your area in and most importantly give it enough time to update. Done a few families boxes today that message came up on a couple just ok it and get rid of it and leave card to update. Regards |
