Default V+ Pad fix, pad fix ? ? ? ? LOL



hi mate, been doing the pad fix for the chip as i took a pad off like a fool, so i did the fix and fitted chip it then got stuck in an update loop, so i then fitted a programmed chip and it showed er40 as 2 legs were touching and wen moving the leg i pulled the pad off, leg 5 now has nowere to go is there anywhere else leg 5 can go to on the board or have i well and truly foo*ed it?

rite, its turn out the pad lifted on the origional position is, for the same leg as the chip ive lifted in the pad fix.
so were as 2719 on the board is were leg 5 would go i now need somewere else to send leg 5 can some 1 please help.

i attach pictures so you can understand what i mean.
Any help would massively hugely humungously be appreciated.

is the origional brocked pad repairable, i see there are brocken pad repair kits? this difficult?

is thre any of the track that connected to the pad still there? if so, get to maplin, get a fibreglass pencil and gently rub away at the green stuff til you see bare copper, and try soldering a link to that. if that's not possible, are the via holes still there, from the second picture? again, same story, but you'll probalby need really fine wire for that, like the kynar wire they use for modchips

yea can see a tiny bit, in the centre of the pad thats their, but how the hell am i gna get solder to stick 2 that? any good solderer's in the nottingham area? :-) whos got all the gear?

fill the hole in with that conductive pen stuff and solder some kynar to the end of that resistor
