I haven't had any problem until last night.

I was using the bigmaq toolbar and normally the new keys are available at a click but last night it said Keymaster & I had to download a text file and then an Application to open the file as it was a rar. File.

I downloaded WinR to try and get to see it but now I got that stupid intervalhee heee virus which I can't get rid off.

Why have things changed?

Is there anywhere else I can get the keys?

Am I doing something wrong?

Keys a re changing on a daily basis, auto-update not working on last firmware so will need new firmware - until that Xmas present arrives will have to keep updating keys manually - get keys from keymaster (bigmaq can no longer post the keys on toolbar due to complaints) dont know why you have a virus but cant see how its related - if you can extract the contents of the keymaster file install and run it, find latest keys for your area and enter them into your box as directed to do so elsewhere on this forum...

Just joined after my box stopped updating last night. Don't have much of a clue about this manual updating stuff but i think I'm in the right place. The keymaster software is great, many thanks.

Its funny really, not so long ago I was first looking at this forum thru virgin eyes when my chipped PACE box went down, and I remember posting (after much reading and trying to help myself I hasten to add) many stressed out HELP HELP type posts. Eventually got a starview and the release of stress (no cards to worry about) is significant. Sorting the starview out was easy thanks to the directions and assistance I got here. Since then, yesterday was the first major 'attack' I've experienced and I'm on the other side of the fence kinda, in that I now sort of know what I'm doing, and I have to say the posts on this forum are kinda frightening. I know you get used to the free goodstuff, and I remember the feeling that there was all these knowledgeable people and there was dumb ol' me, and why cant they just sort me out and I'll leave em alone, but seriously, it must really p**s off the regulars and mods here every time this happens and all the bleating for help from scratch begins. Think about it, normal use here is, I dunno, what 50 regular lurkers/posters? Jumping to what, twice, three times that after an 'attack'? If the mods/regulars help one of those guys out from scratch, are they then expected to do the same for everyone? EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW IS NO MORE THAN A CLICK OR TWO AWAY. IF YOU ARE STUCK AT SOME POINT IN THE PROCESS, ASK A SPECIFIC QUESTION. Notice how the ones that just say HELP (apart from the ones that are women, heh, maybe newbies should all create female logins) don't get too many replies?

got mine working last night using codes off keymaster turned box on today its not working i thought they'd changed the code again but noticed everytime i entered the code and stored it,still did'nt work but when i'd go back into nagravision the key i had installed had changed back to the wrong key any ideas !!

See above, keys are changing on a daily basis, until a new firmware is released that will auto-update again we will have to keep inputting keys each day (they are only changing by one or two digits from what I can see - not that that helps any)

Oh hang on, think I read your post wrong, you're saying you're storing new keys and they dont seem to be storing - are you definitely putting them in against the right service provider code? If so, ensure you store each key separately - put in key 00, press ok and it will flash, press ok again and its stored, then change to key 01 and repeat the input/store process. Should be ok

some times press set default and then go into nagravision then input keys works

What's up with C&W? Why can't they get the keys?
