I've got the codes (I think) but only have a blank tv screen and can't get the menu up to put them in.

Any ideas as to how I can get the menu back??

Press menu, then type in 1570 and put keys in the nagravision section

Thats how it goes on a starview 4, prolly the same on others, I dunno

That's my problem - I only have a blank screen and no menu comes up when I press menu on the remote. I know how to input the codes just can't get to the menu to do it!

Er, is this the first time you've set the box up, or was it running before the key changes?

If it was, maybe you should reinstall the firmware? Beyond that, and cold rebooting, I dunno why you would have lost the menu screen completely. Perhaps (and I suggest this tentatively) something in your box has corrupted?

Hopefully one of the more clued up guys will prove me wrong...
