fix all starview 3 boxes easy with key code's works fine for all vm channels

to fix you starview 3 box simple vm has zapped al boxes 27 nov 2008 got mine back on within 2 mins of zapping how i did this is below

1 download a tool bar for the lates vm codes
TheChatterBox | Cable TV Specialists
install it start internet explorer you see a tool bar on the top look next to the search box in the tool bar you see a keyand words keys click this
this then gives you the daily key code for starview 3

2 get remote press menu instalation make shure your provider is selcted
mine is tw your could be diffrent for you area

3 press exit and exit again

4 press menu the 1570 this is the cas system for the box

5 goto naravision press ok

6 not the code on the tool bar and copy this to here

press ok to store code

press exit

7 goto key emu and make shure its on

press ok to store

8 press exit press exit again

9 goto channel 0511 and wait for channel to update

done.

sometime the code input dose not save you my have to do it 2-3 times
to manualy input codes look

press menu
press 1570. (this takes you into secret menu)
Press OK on "nagravision"
Make sure your cable provider is listed at top N*L or T***WEST C&W CHO**S ect
Go down to "Key Number" and check its on 00
Go down again to "Key Data" and input the correct keys
Press OK to store
Go back up "Key Number" and change to 01 using the > button on the remote control
Go back down again to "Key Data" and input the correct keys
Press OK to store
Press "Exit" , Check the bottom option and make sure "Key EMU" is On
Press Ok again
Then "Exit and "Exit" again back to the main tv screen
Then go to a paid channel and should update

failing that try googling starview 3

Yes this is only a temp fix until the keys roll again which could be anytime, a new firmware release is needed for a more perm au fix!!!

this works perfectly just a bit of patience and trial and error but once u understand how to do it, it works perfect

Great advise ..cheers steveukuk...just downloaded keymaster and followed instruction and i was sorted...starview the box works great...
