I guess it's a .ini file in the Vplug folder. Normally in Plugins folder.

It will just set the two setting which I guess will help. Or click on cog at top that the second tab and the same two options are there too.

Guess you can tell I am no expert. I don't watch TV, just like to see it working. Which as of now 03/12/08 it's not. Has the mouse been cornered again with VM back in control, or have I changed something? oh guess I'll wait and see though Vplug has not updated now for 30mins. Maybe it's cause I only turn it on for a few mins here and there a VM are sending the info less often..

thats a good find mate, i already had the correct keys in Vplug but i changed them to 0000000000000000 and then followed the instructions and it updated after a few seconds

well done

this is obviously a very useful thread so have decided to make a sticky

why does mine insist on finding ecm emm for provider 5D01 when my provider is 5C01 ?
i have both 5c01 and 5d01 active in the emm ini
ive reset all the keys to 000000000000as suggested but all i get is

( [12/12/2008 08:57:04] ProgDvbNet DMAX - NAGRA1 5D01 -> Incorrect hash -> AutoECM started... ) what dose incorrect hash mean that im smoking the wrong kind of dope ?

i dont understand why it says 5D01 when my provider is 5C01 i can only get it working if i manually enter the key under provider 5C01

any help would be apprecited.

Hi namkrad, I think it could of been when there was a hit from vermin in april the provider Id’s for vplug plugins seem to change from 5C01 to 5D01 etc etc although they stayed the same on the boxes, so as thumperstu says this is could be correct 5D01. If CharlieRam’s advice don’t work. Take a look at vplugs monitor at the top in the EMM column, opposite the key icon this is the EMM Pid for you (4 digit hex) did you edit the v_emm.ini as CharlieRam suggests with this?? try for both 5C01 and 5D01 if it decrypts it should show which one it's using.

I'm been have a few problems with the encrypted channels since the end of November. I have altered the ini file so that 5D01 and 5C01 both have my EMM as the PID. While I have left the keys as they were using 0000000000000000 and 1234. However VPlug still doesn't decrypt the channels. Any suggestions?
