thanks guys. Before reloading mdapi 2008 the other night, i could no longer get the vista trayicon to load so subsequently couldn't see what was happening in vplug montor.
But i've not tried it since the reinstalls. Will give it a whirl.

I did that the other night, but tbh i'm not sure which key i selected and i didn't have MP running at the time. So that's something else to try.

hi fellas,
right, i've tried doing as Willin suggested, and it doesn't seem to do much. When you tune to a scrambled channel in MP and vplug aint working (like mine) then it cant tune to the channel and usually prompts you to revert to the previous channel, so not sure if what willin suggests would apply to MP anyway. Although previously i used to get info in the vplug monitor saying that the key has expired. Not getting that now, but still not getting non fta channesl to work, so sommat is still wrong.
