You can now see the dbox folders in windows explorer I assume, via the ftp address of the box (e.g. ftp://192.168.1.101)??

If so, browse to the folder, and simply copy and paste the file in like a regular folder. Alternatively, use an FTP client, and drag the fodler from your pc to the dbox keys folder.

Also presume you have downloaded the updated file as per other posts in the 'new fix' topic on this forum?

Basically, yeah. Previously it was a case of manually changing or replacing a keys file (text)

I also disabled the other ROMs, (3 & 10), as per another thread, not sure if this makes a difference.. ROM 3 was already disabled anyway

ok mate I've done that but its still not working mate. Do i need to delete an other files?

I didnt need to - it replaced the existing nagrarom7.bin file, and when I disabled rom 10 on the box the others disappeared from the folder

i've deleted all others apart from7. Do i need to enable updates again? If so how do i them ?

Not sure about enabling updates, whether it's the same as enabling the ROM (which is all I did)

On my box, with the sportster image, I can dig through the menu to:

Sportsetr Menu -> Public Key Menu -> Nagra ROM Image Menu

In the image menu, i can choose to enable ROMs 3, 7, 10 or 11. Now I just have 7 enabled, previously I had 7 & 10. When you disable one, it moves the associated files to the keys\disabled folder on your dbox.

Once settings changed, there is an option to 'Restart EVOCAMD after Changes' which I did and everything worked so I could watch arsenal put two past chelsea.

Unfortunately, I'm having problems again now, so need to keep messing around with it myself! Not sure if its related to this fix or not??

I got it workin yesterday with this ftp program.But today it went at 2.30pm. But now its back on with this rom fix. Lets see how long it lasts!

Testing this fix- properly:


Deleted ALL files in \vars\keys folder (left the disabled and AutoRoll.Key folders in it)..at the same time the \vars\scce folder the files are removed automatically (it seems that its a mirror of the keys folder)

Set all Nagra ROM's to Disabled (3, 7, 10, 11) rebooted....
BLANK SCREEN

So I copied over the 'nagrarom7.bin' to the \vars\keys folder (appeared in the scce as well!!) and rebooted!!
BLANK SCREEN


Copied over the other 2 files nagraepr7.bin, nagraram7.bin (nagrarom7.bin already there) enabled the Nagra Rom 7 and rebooted!!
BLANK SCREEN


why...???


Luckly me had a copy of the files that I had deleted earlier.
Put these all back and then copied over the 'nagrarom7.bin' - Nagra Rom's left it aloneand rebooted!!

BLANK SCREEN...for about 1 minute and then Sly sp0rts came on



Nagra Rom 7 appears now as enabled (it did before)
Nagra Rom 10 appears now as enabled (as I put these files back)
All others are disabled




Results - copy the files (keys.zip) I've added the 'nagrarom7.bin' file to it already, reboot....and wait a minute.


Heres the files if you wanna give it a go on a Box that not working as it should:
keys.zip

Just need some else to try....if nothing else has worked!!
