Default star view box menu

hi this is my first post like most people i have lost all my channels,i have read lots of the advice given but my problem is that i cannot get the menu to appear.has anyone any idea how i can fix this,i am not technically minded so plain english please

tricky one that mate. switch off ur box and the back and then put it back on then try pressing menu again, if that wont work its probably the remote
