How to set netid on Virgin V+ box

Hello everyone

I have cable with the silver Samsung box. I got given a V+ box from some one moving to Aus, but I have tried just swapping it over but it just stops at the 'powering up..please wait' stage (or something like that) Upon lots of reading I think I need to set the netid to this area, Swindon. But I think I have totake the lid off to do that, but have no idea what to do once 've done that. Can anyone help here with instructions? Or do I need to do other things?

Also, I am only assuming I can use the box, I don't know if I need to been 'activated' in some way from Virgin 'central' ?

if im not wrong the samsung boxes update the net id automaticly it should work on fta only though as in bbc1 2 ivt 1 and just a few othere channels
