froze on easy install menu after download

downloaded new firmware ok

got to easy install menu and cant navigate up down ok exit etc

tried differet remote off other kryptview box no diff

other kryptview box worked ok any help?

try a reboot if that dont work reflash dont unplug after flash till 0000 on front display

same happened to me..

i had to reflash my box with the 5/10/98 f/w from the bigmaq toolbar and then flash the latest keyroll f/w is was ok after that, also you might find there is no sound after the latest flash..just disconnect/reconnect your scart and then turn the volume up it should be ok

when you say froze, can you access auto scan from the menu?

re flashed old firmware
menu worked went back to reset factory settings
flashed new firmware once more (5 times total now)
scanned channels and all is fine

but dont know why it did this on this box and not other

strange but alls well etc

took best part of 6 hours searching forums and trying diff things but the force is good amongst the community and i have learned well for a young jedi
