Hi Folks,

For those of you who may be anticipating a keyroll this weekend, id actually put money on the fact that there won't be one.

In fact, there hasn't been a keyroll on a saturday or a sunday for the last year or so. I will no doubt be proved wrong on this occasion but just thought id post this info anyway.

I guess the keyrolls must only take place monday - friday, office hours so to speak.

Oh i wouldnt be so sure mate KR on the weekend is unusual yes BUT not unheard off,id keep your money as you could easily be on a loser there lol

Yes, the weekend is when a lot of people have time to watch a bit of telly.

If Virgin don't change them, then they are being very lazy. In the satellite world, that is precisely when they would do it, to cause as much inconvenience as possible, to encourage people to actually pay for their TV services. the best time to do it would be right in the middle of a match, and time you have the keys you have missed the 2nd half.

Dish TV in America have been known to roll the keys 10 minutes into the Superbowl final

Someone on the main forum suggested VM historically restrict their key changes to office hours (Mon-Fr 9-5). This recieved a few doubtful responses. One even suggested VM may start playing hardball and change keys at some point during the wekends big football matches to try and motivate people to pay for uninterrupted service. Can any longtermers please advise the likelihood of this, in terms of how its gone in the past?

As i and a few other "Longtermers" said in the other thread it is HIGHLY likely,they dont play by 9-5 rules in this game,
Quite why it needed a new thread i dont know,but yes it can and does happen and has done since th start when they had daily keyrolls sometimes twice or 3 times in a day !!!!

Dont underestimate them
