Hey Guys/Girls

I've recently tried to up my starview one box but come across some issues. I've updated with s/w version (STAR_VIEW_H20060816_257eE_api_FIXED) Via GT-ROM App File only
and now all i seem to be getting on the display is "on".
Can't change the channels or does it display anything on the T.V

could anyone give me any pointers on what do try next?

hi had the same prob but re-flashed box with 4.51 seemed to fix it

hi think you may have loaded wrong software to box did same my version is first unit thebox reloaded this in and worked thebox_UK_H20070705_450eE_api.bin dont know if this wil work on clone boxes though

dont think that will work ....i really need this box working...isn't there a way to factory reset it?

I haven't heard of any proper fix for an SV1, clone or not! U may have bricked it, but if no support is forthcoming that's not so bad!

Looks like your first try you have used the clone software.
Your second try 4.51 firmware is for the box Starview 2
Open box up and look for leaking or bulging caps and replace
