Default Starview Pvr entering code

I have a Starview box, and I entered the new codes and all was fine, But when I tried to enter the same codes into my Starview Pvr, I could enter the numarals, but not the letters, I pressed all the colour coded keys blue for (F) etc but it would not enter the letters, what am I doing wrong. HELP

At the bottom of the Starview your have the coloured circuled letters at the bottom of the screen in the Nagravision, But this is not the case in the PVR Nagravision?

Press the number keys several times, like old fasioned texing on mobiles before they invented predictive text.
So key number "2" on the remote when pressed once is 2, two presses gives "A", three presses gives "B", four times gives "C" etc etc.

I`m in the exact same boat, Ive got "The Box PVR" and the codes are not working at all.

Sometimes it says "wait for picture" and doesnt do anything else and other times it says "scrambled".

Any help would be great.

i have the box pvr and the codes work fine.
Make sure u have the correct provider listed (i went with cable and wireless even though im NTL)

then get the keys from keymaster (do a search on here for `keymaster)
Once u have the keys enter them and when u do one lot of codes save them before doing the next set and then go to a channel and let it auto update.
Get the latest Codes dated the 29/11 as yesterdays are dead now and wont work.
Im new to all this and i got it working once i found out that my box pvr was listed under starview.

Cheers for the reply mate, thats where I was going wrong, I had my provider set to NTL by default, as soon as I changed it to C&W and typed in the C&W codes, it worked great, thanks alot mate, your a star!
