Ok lads - the r&pidshare site is filtered here for good reasons. DONT try and get around our filters by modifying links - you will get penalised for it.

Hi

I'd firstly like to say a huge thanks for the updated nagrarom7 file, if I had to manually update the Keylist.txt or nagra file one more time, I would have probably lost the plot.

I am posting though to ask if what is happening is normal?.

Once I FTP'd the file across and did a restart, it started working within a couple of minutes, which was all good! The problem seems to be that the Keylist.txt file doesn't seem to be getting updated the way it did before for some reason. It's completely blank and that's even though the keys are showing up when I choose "Show Public Keys" and I am using evocamd.

When I restarted the box, the channel came up blank again but after 5 minutes, it started working again. I guess that is to be expected as the Keylist file is blank and it then has to get the keys again after the reboot but should it really be that way? Is my box being weird or having some privilege issues maybe? Or should a reflash be on the cards?

Thanks

Col

I'm 99% sure there's a setting in the EMU menu (via blue button) that denotes whether the new keys are written to file or just held temporarily. I'm not at home at the minute so can't tell you for sure but just have a look in the blue button menu under EMU settings and have a look at the EMU settings for the one you are currently using. It should say 'new keys write to file' or something along those lines. I'm sure someone else can confirm this for me....

UPDATE - Just found this info on another thread so I was right. Have a look at the info on here EMU Problem?

Cheers

You should have the new nagrarom7 and a nagraepr7 or something along those lines. Some of the guys have not deleted any other roms and just overwritten the rom7 and it's worked fine so you could just try that ans see how that goes. Did you back up your files before deleting? If not download the April rom fix and ftp across and then replace the rom7 with the november one...

Mate you're a legend! thanks so much for that. I know it wasn't the end of the world or anything but it was getting a bit annoying.

I think I'd managed to accidentally change that when going through the options, trying to disable the autoupdate when the problems first began a few days ago.

Thanks again for you're help. Really appreciate it

Cheers

I don't have a Dbox button on my remote so can't get to settings and network. Any suggestions as what to use alternative buttons.
