got a new infinity usb programmer,,it cam with an old style dick the plastic type think its called a floppy,,i only have cd rom on my laptop,any idears how i can get the softwear? or dont u need it ? thanks

ya got 2.71 softwear,,its on and working chose my card type prussian4,but nothin else to do carnt write,read or nothin it says programmer disconected? its not though the blue l.e.d is flashing....

You might have to manually install the drivers.
Go into Device Manager, right click on My Computer, click on properties and click on Device Manager.
Look for a yellow exclamation mark, right click on this and click update driver software.
Select Browse My Computer manually, click Browse, and navigate to Local Disk C:, if that is your hard drive that you have Vista installed, Program Files, Infinity USB, Driver, click OK, and Next.
Your computer should now find the drivers.

right ,i dun that mate an it worked ,but ive clicked the icon and the interface comes up still saying not connected ? this is realy hard lol

Is the blue light on solid and not flashing and is the Infinty USB now listed in Device Manager under Universal Serial Bus Controllers?
