Eurovox down yesterday...latest update please !!

Hi all....my Eurovox Max V has gone down ( constantly saying updating codes etc...) This is the second time in 6 months and i was wondering if anybody had a fix for this latest problem I flashed the kuro Image V3 Final 18/4/08 the last time it went down and all was fine after that.

I might be abit early asking for the new firmware as i know it probably takes time for 'the clever people' to sort out a fix but i hope someone can help....kids are already getting Disney channel withdrawel syndrome !!

looks like a little lite readings in order

must be a page and a half of threads on vm rolling the codes this week

its 3 or 4 times now from what i have read

It took about 10 days for the new firmware last time - in meantime, just get used to typing codes or else buy Sky HD!

Steve. Have you actually read any of the threads on this forum? For two and a half days this has been a problem and there must be over 1000 posts about it. You will need to do a little research yourself to find out what to do. I'm not witholding information but this is yet another thread started unnecessarily.

Steve - can only reiterate what everyone else on this forum has said - READ THE POSTS FOR GAWD'S SAKE!!! Sly seems to have "persuaded" VM to put more effort into stopping us "stealing" cable TV and a result, the Kuro firmware no longer "auto updates". Until a new firmware fix is available (IF it becomes available) you'll need to manually input keys - probably every day and possibly even more than once a day - and there are posts here to guide you through all that. There's nothing for nothing mate - you need to put some effort in,like reading the flaming posts!

Yes sorry guys....will be alittle more on the ball next time and do abit of reading. Its just that with ALL the posts and Stickys i am not always too sure on where to start.

Well said, that man. It takes a while, Steve, but worth the effort. If you make reasonable requests on the forum, there are good guys out there that are willing to help.
