Where am I Going Wrong?

I have done the cable box before, but I forgot how I did it last time.

So heres whats I did:

Funcard/PACE/Pure

1. Took the old files from the old card.

2. Copyed the details from the Ext. - Box Key, Cam ID, IRC.

2. Downloaded the new funcard pure file.

3 Made a new Ext file using the details i got from the old ones and new keys from KeyMaster.

4. Put the Ext file to the funcard

5. Put the flash file to the funcard.


But............................it's not working........HELP!

I dont understand what I'm missing, do i edit the flash file i downloaded?

What am I missing!

pull the exprom of the fun convert that hex to bin

open in toxic, change keys or do 0000000000

erase card

write new bin file then flash the new flash

done

no dont edit flash file
you only had to copy where you put your id abd bk run the file over swap bin.hex use the rhv1 in the au files to open up the bin file you created wipe out the keys then save the file delete the old hex file run the bin file over the swapbin.exe then write the hex file youve just crated along with new flash file and write card

What are you using for your exteep ? ROM, Toxic,rhv1 . have you got the right area flash ?

yeah I'm using the pure flash, whitch is what my area is.

How did you get the BK & IRD from the old ExtEEP? Nagra Edit?

If so the IRD was probably displayed in reverse in nagra edit.

When you enter it in toxic, make sure that the 12 or 3E goes in first. If Nagraedit showed it with 12 or 3E on the right, read it right to left to get the true value.

And yeah, in toxic leave the public keys at 0's don't mess with entering keymaster keys.

I got the info via opening the old Ext and copying them with toxic.

Dont enter the keys???

Yep i understand that you were opening the exteep but with what program?

Was it nagraedit or straight into toxic? Anyways doesn't matter just make sure you put the ird in the right way round in toxic. Should start 12 or 3E.

It won't do any harm if you enter the keys, but you won't be able to tell if it auto-updates...if you've already entered the keys its meant to update.
