Help with new Eurovox Max V... :-(

Hi - need some help/advice please! Just got a new Eurovox Max V - with the "free to air" software only pre installed on it.

Have downloaded the right DNUPMAN software (Kuro etc) and have attached the box with power cable only attached - then attached to PC with null cable modem (not USB one). When I press "Download" on the software it does not find the box on either com port 1 or 2? Have tried manually and still doesnt find it. BOth ports are workign fine (have checked with device driver etc through my computer).

Have now tried two null modem cables and same thing happens. The pc cannot see/find the box?
- What am I doing wrong..?

When I disconnect the box and have attached to TV etc and surfed for channels - this worked fine - found all channels but obviously none could be watched - most came up with "please wait for code to be updated" for ages and ages. So I believe it needs the right software put on it.

How can get this box to be found and put the right software on it?

Any help much appreciated....

r u sure its nul modem cable

Software is fine,but you may have problems when you get the new firmware.!
