You need the latest keys. Why? Because, although the firmware that was on your box previously auto-updated and you were never bothered by such things as key changes before, it isn't doing so anymore. And until a new firmware is released that will do so, you're stuck manually inputting these keys.

To get the keys get the keymaster application. On the forum, go to Uk Cable/Private FTA/Some download links/Other cable TV. Copy and paste the url you see here into your browser. On the page that comes up, navigate to page 2 (hit next at the bottom). The second file from the top is the keymaster file. Download it to your desktop. Once done so, because it is a compressed file you will need winrar to extract the contents. If you dont have it google it and download a free trial version of it. Once done so use it to extract the keymaster app and the readme file. Once the app is extracted, run it (with a working internet connection). If you get an error message read the readme file, it gives a link for a .net framework download you need to install on your pc. Once done, try keymaster again. Should run.

Once keymaster is running you'll see a list of service providers and keys. Wa-hey. NB: Pure = NTL. The others are self-evident. Note the latest keys for your provider.

Now on your box bring up the menu. Type in 1570 to access a hidden menu (thats on a starview 4, apparently there are other ways of doing this on others, ask around). Here go in to nagravision. The first option is the service provider code. I forget where I learnt mine, think it was off bigmaq, sorry. If you dont know yours, I'm sure someone will be able to advise you. Once you have yours, go down to key. With this on key00, go down and input the key you have got from keymaster. On Starview4 this page tells you how to input the letters. Again I gather its different on others, ask around. Once the key is in, press ok once, then again to store. Now go up to key01 and down again, inputting the other key. Again store it. Now exit this page. On the hidden menu ensure EMU/Keycode (the bottom option) is on. Exit out and your telly box should be happy again. Now sit and back and wait for the next key change, and repeat.
