Hi. I have been reading most of the threads on the forums about this issue. But i still can't access my config menu on my box.

Box Details.

Eurovox EX1000SL(slimline version, black). Purchased November.
Model - DVB-XC BoxS TDA
S/W Ver - 1.0 ST4 Aug 21 2008
H/W Ver - 2.0tS
Bootstrap - v001
S/W Build Kuro

I want to access the config menu. I have tried.

Menu - Yellow Button
Menu - Languages - 1968
Menu - Languages - (2nd option) - 1968x2

All of these don't access the config menu. Is there a different option for these new boxes or would you suggest i re-flash the box or just wait for the next firmware update. I understand everything else, in getting the keys etc. Just wanted to know, if theres an alternate option to enter this config menu.

Just another question. Is 1968 the master pin on some boxes, just curious because on mine its a different number. As when i got the box, i got instructions on default pin and master pin.

is it a clone box? as menu ok 1968 1968 then u press LEFT ARROW KEY!!!!

No, its not a clone box. As i got it from a reputable recommended dealer.

did u try left arrow key after i said?

so without looking at screen

menu ok 1968 1968 left arrow key works

Hi. I have sorted it out now. It was my fault, i made a noob error. I updated it with the FTA file. Well, you live and learn from your mistakes. I re-updated with the proper file. I can now get to the config menu, using Menu + yellow button.
