Default Wingate and Proxy

ive set up 2 modems to one pc and am have a little trouble with wingate.

ive followed the tutorial and set up wingate however when i come to test my ip rotation because ive set the proxy to 127.0.0.1 i cannot access the internet.

im using ie7 and vista.

can anyone shed some light on the situation?

You did update the proxy settings in IE?

i worked it out, when i set the proxy seeting in ie (as my original post mentions) i couldnt access the internet, however if i checked the bind loop box in wingate it works.

i followed the wingate tutorial that said to uncheck the box but that was wrong.

id be interested to find out if anyone else has been caught out by this?

It didnt effect me if the box was ticked or not, however I worked it out without a guide so who knows what setting I changed when playing around...
