Hi and yes this is my first post, yes I am a n00b when it comes to this sort of thing but I have read as much as i can and thought i had all the answers. Maybe someone could just reassure me i am headed in the right direction.
I have an Infinity Unlimited with 2.72 software and I am hoping to reprogram the card with the latest keys to get back up and running. I have the BigMaq toolbar and have downloaded the hex file but also have Keymaster. I have a couple of tutorials but I am getting lost a little as i have messages that are preventing me from proceeding. One tutorial i have read that it is simply a matter of reading and saving the Exteep from the card and then flashing the latest hex and save Exteep back to the card. If this method is correct then when i try to read the Exteep the Infinity software tells me that to read it it will erase the flash to proceed, is this normal? As i was not sure on this i read the flash and Inteep from the card and tried to use Funcard viewer to retrive the IRD and BK but i get a message saying "Invalid file, IRD does not start or end with 12". So at the moment i'm a little stuck. I have a Fun5 card and i am using "PrussianCard 3" in the drop down list. Could someone confirm that it will be OK to read the Exteep? Thanks in advance for the help. |
