On keyroll, channels all lost = on box was "0000"

A friend of mine his box just key-rolled, and the channel no is 0000, and he seems to have lost all his channels.

I'm almost certain its a clone from his description, but is the 0000 thing cos the box has died?

Does the menu work?
if it does rescan it.

on rescan he gets random channels, but not all the ones he used too.

Try a factory reset then a power scan.
