Will the EX1000 firmware work on a Max V 2008?
Has anyone tried it?
I understand that the Max V firmware will be out soon but Im interested to know if this would work??

Ive got a EX5000 PVR.. all sorted with new firmware, just waitin for a key roll to check its workin....
If the Max V update isnt out by the time I get home, Ill try the EX1000 SL firmware on my mates Max V !! If it kills it, Ill let you all know and tell my mate he's all outta luck...

the slim one is a 1000 basically a small max v so should be the same firmware

it wont do any harm 2 ur box tryin cos any firmware is checked its 4 suitability b4 uploadin from ur pc 2 the box+any incompatibility issues will b displayed+ur box wont b changed in any way..its the box model that will prob stop the firmware from uploadin even tho it possibly could work..
Ive made the mistake a few times when flashin red+blues..no harm done at all its jus a kwik swop of UFL progs needed when a mistake is made..

well usually when u upgrade the firmware if u jtag it back to fresh and update it like from eurovox 2 to eurovox max i know that has worked because ive done it but then u need the max remote but wouldnt risk it now just wait for max v firmware to be released , dont know about max v cloned firmware though whether anyone will mek it
