EX5000 PVR firmware working, big thanks.

I didnt know who to direct my thanks towards so i will post it here and if you are responible for the fix, I Just wanted to offer my thanks for a great job well done on producing the firmware so quickly.

please if you have benifited from the firmware please say thanks to the developers as well.

to flash ur box all u need is a null modem cable connect that from ur pc to ur box and download the new firmware its a ufl so u dont need to do anything else firmware etc etc is all in one so all u do is hit download wait for it to finish and away u go

(1) Download the toolbar TheChatterBox | Cable TV Specialists

(2) Click files and fixes on the toolbar, select Eurovox Fixes/Eurovox PVR ex5000/release 1/12/2008 download and unzip

(3) Connect serial cable to you box and pc

(4) Click UFL_EX5000_DarX_01-12-08.exe , press download then start.

(5) wait till it comes up complete, job done. thats how simple it was.

Only problem i did have was getting the serial connection working, i had to reinstall the driver and job done.
