THE BOX PVR? udate news? fix or otherwise? please

i would like to know of any possible update for starveiw "the box pvr" ? either for the key fix or just a firmware update ?

some one must know something on here? ive been looking all over different sites looking for answers
i keep coming across threads of others asking the same things but with no response i would just like an answer one way or another so i can stop searching just so i know whats happening ?
so any information would be greatly appreciated by me and many others wondering the same thing

i found a thread on satkings yesterday they was on about releasing a new firmware for the box before the key trouble but nothing has come of it yet but they said it would be out a month or so ago it was expected early Oct i think but it has not materialised and the mods have stopped answering questions about it as they were getting a bit of flack i went to check the thread this morning and i think it has been removed as i cant find it anymore

Im also waiting to hear some news on this box even if its bad news and i have to buy another box i just dont want to buy one until i know that there will not be a fix for this one

well thanks for that comment jimbo but if you read what i actually wrote you would realise the that i have read all that i can find on this and not just on this forum but on others and when i search on this mater on here all i can find is posts that i have already participated in which there are no answers to this Question

if you know of some thing else i can search to find what I'm asking then i would be extremely grateful if you could point me in the right direction

just for the record i am not on any high horse and I'm pretty sure richtheman87 isn't either
both of us and other people are just frustrated that there is little or no support for the box pvr ,and that there was a beta firmware out there last year and it has still not materialised all that we asked if any one knows any thing about this! either of a firmware update or a firmware to fix the key updating problem their are rumours that this box will not be supported any more all that we want to know is how the situation stands so we can either wait for a fix or purchase a new box
the fact that nearly all other box's now have fixs and there's still no mention of ours is also slightly concerning
you say its on on the forum well please tell me where i will go and read it it would have been easier to do that than leave your negative comment

If anybody important reads this, please update the PVR box firmware. I've got 2 of these boxes - that's £300 worth and would hate to have to toss them now.
Even if anybody has the understanding of the firmware files, let me know if there's anything I can possibly to do to fanny together a patch.

I am also growing more and more frustrated at there being no sign of an update for this box, I only bought at the start of the year and don't want 2 have 2 get a new box. On the subject of a October update there was released LAST October (it is on Chatterbox toolbar), I have not yet seen an update of any kind dated for October this year but I do hope there is one soon. Anyone with any info on a flash for the box pvr please let us know!!!

yes i have the current firmware from Oct last year but there was a beta version out at the same time that was due to be released this year around Oct 2008
ive found the thread i mentioned at the top of this thread ill post link so you can read it for your selves that forum is home to the people that write the firmware for the the box pvr but they clamped down on cable talk last year and we seemed to lose support form them
