new firmware help plz

hi all im totaly new here ive been reading for the last few days waiting for the new firmware i have dl it but then i read warning if ur box is a clone this firmware will brick it i have a eurovox max-v wich i have identifyed as a clone i read i need a program called dnupman i cannot seem to find this prog and i dont know weather im suposed to be using this new firmware realese or not could sum1 plz point me in the right direction before i go ahead and try it thanks.

Is it a max v 2008?
If so there has never been any firmware for a clone (i have two so i know)
i did once upload the old Kuro software onto a clone with no problems.

hi yes it is a max-v 2008 from what i can see it has kuro v.1 installed on it i got it in april nvr had to update it before

so if there has never been a fw update for clone boxes does this mean i just have to try the new fw and hope for the best?

ok i have the firmware i have the cable i have connected the box via the cable i power the box clik dl on the new firmware it says it cannot find reciever so i opt for detect by boot i unplug and plug bak in reciever and it jus sits there saying waiting for response from reciever and does nothing any ideas?

Hi, I need some advice. I have a Eurovox PVR ex5000 and need to get the new firmware update. I've got the bigmaq toolbar but when I go under the PVR ex5000 section it seems to be the firmware for the Max. Please help! Much appreciated.

ok i have read the newbie guide to flashing several times i know my box is a clone it has kuro v.1 istalled on it ive been told there is no firmware for clones so ile jus have to try the new fw ive tryed to install it several times but th fw doesnt seem to find the reciever ?
