hello, cable modem flashers

lol , i have never done a cable modem before , i have only touched boxes , and i was thinking of giving the cable modems a go . im paying for 8mb broadband at the moment and i was thinking how would it work ?

would i buy another modem flash it ,unplug the modem i have at the moment and plug in the modded modem , so i could get 20mb. If so is there anyway of them realising that i have plugged in a modded modem and i am getting 20mb , when i am only meant to be getting 8mb ?

Do not mess with sub'd modem.. best to get another modem.. im paying for 2mb and using my modded modem 20mb.. just put your sub'd box on now and again, so it interacts with vm..

No they wont find out, I have been doing it for years, however if you have a subbed modem I would buy another as suggested.
