hi all,
i've downloaded the latest software for my starview super usb box, and i put it on my memory stick, plugged it into the back of the box, loaded it up through the menu. i then auto scanned through all the channels, thinking that they would all be fixed, no joy? now i cant get the channels to working, only the freview ones! where have i gone wrong

im not sure mate i have an earlier box than you so mine will be different
they have secret menus with special codes to unlock them but im sure someone else will have asked before for this box try putting "starview4+updateing+keys " in the search bar see if that pulls it up for you or if not try "starview4+secret+menu or starview+emu+menu" or just hope some nice guy will tell you good luck |

just found this for you i hope its what you need
Plug the box in to the TV using the usual scart lead. Turn on the box, press menu and go to installation, Select correct provider i.e. N**, C/W or TW Cho*** NOW SUPPORTED WITH THIS FILE ONLY Then automatic scan Once the channels are found, exit back to the blank screen Press menu (ignore what is on the screen) and press 1 5 7 0, this takes you to a secret menu, Go down to emu and turn it on. Now exit and wait for it to store all the data. Thats it, have fun it was posted by martin-f so thanks to him |

there is acording to that you cant see it its secret
just do what this says and you should see you emu menu pop up Press menu (ignore what is on the screen) and press 1 5 7 0, this takes you to a secret menu, Go down to emu and turn it on. Now exit and wait for it to store all the data. Thats it, have fun do excatly what it says |

yes but i dont have the emu option on my box, i have others but not emu.
i've even restored to factory settings and channels still not working ![]() is this because i tried to put the firmware on? |

im not sure im flying blind here as i dont know your box
im sure that the post was correct it was for the starveiv 4 when you press the menu button on your remote and then just input the numbers 1 ,5 ,7, 0 a secret menu should pop up i dont know what it says but somewhaere it should give you the option to turn something on or off if that new menu dosent pop up and youve done exactly what it says then im stuck to help you as i can only go off what others have said |
